NCIS: New Orleans Preservation Hall Stage

Frank Oxley is the son of the well-known jazz and rhythm and blues drummer Dave Oxley, who played at Preservation Hall in the 1960s and served as his first drum teacher. A practitioner of the traditional style learned from his father and such bygone greats as Cie Frazier and Joe Watkins, Frank plays regularly at Preservation Hall, the Palm Court Jazz Café, and other venues as an in-demand sideman or leader of his own group, the
Joint Chiefs of Jazz. He is also a veteran of the legendary Eureka Brass Band.
