The media and press coverage and the booth are valued at roughly $30,000. The artist must to be present to sign and number festival prints prior to the event. Event dates are August 4-6, 2017. The poster will be displayed at the merchandise booth, in press releases, on the website, in festival materials including, but not limited to, brochures, kiosks, and festival signage.

Submission Guidelines
The purpose of this call is to identify the artist to create the 17th annual Satchmo SummerFest signature artwork. When designing the artwork, please keep in mind that we are seeking high-quality, merchandisable artwork that can be reproduced across various mediums including but not limited to silkscreen t-shirts.

French Quarter Festivals, Inc. reserves the right not to select artwork if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. French Quarter Festival reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry at its sole discretion. The selected artist will be required to sign a contract assigning all ownership of the artwork to French Quarter Festivals, Inc (including the original artwork, as well as, any future reproductions). All submitted work must be original and not based on any pre-existing design. All entries will become the sole property of FQFI and may be displayed publicly on the Satchmo SummerFest website. All marketing of image will be done by FQFI. Any marketing of image by artist must be agreed upon prior to use.
